Embrace your magic ✨

Happy Friday the 13th, my magical friend! Given a bad rap thanks to some smart PR in ancient Christianity, Friday the 13th represents the Divine Feminine. No matter your gender identity, there are aspects of it in all of us.

Complicating this today is the kickoff of Eclipse Season - tomorrow's Libra new moon is a solar eclipse and when the sun and moon line up, light is thrown to the shadows and surprises surface.

My favorite Instagram astrologist Jonathan Dent says that now, more than ever, it's important to have faith that whatever shows up (whether a beginning or ending) is for your highest good. It might not feel like it while you're in it, but The Universe loves you, and whatever happens is out of love.

Deck: The Wild Unknown

Feeling called to The Wild Unknown this week, we've got The Devil, reversed. This card is all about your shadow side, so its timing with the eclipse tomorrow is synchronistic.

The Devil reminds you to invite your shadows to the story. It isn't always love and light. And your shadows can be any part of yourself that you don't like. They can be how you respond in certain situations, a boundary that you always let slide, or even a habit that you don't notice.

These parts of yourself deserve as much love as the “great” parts - more, even! You must love your darkness, but beware of getting stuck there. (Hades was an early casting for this card in my Broadway tarot deck. It was for a good reason.)

Soooo, what shadows can you embrace this eclipse season? Reply and let me know!
